Class Experience
NOTE: Recordings will be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the content for that week. In the last week, the videos might be less lengthy since we've covered a lot by then. Students will also need to print out their pages at home to follow with me in the video. There are about 5-10 pages to print out each week. Students will learn about supply and demand, productive resources, import and export, needs versus wants, saving and spending, taxes, producers and consumers, important vocabulary terms, as well as goods versus services.
I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 5 years and every year I complete an interactive notebook with my students because it allows them to engage through the lessons in a fun way.
- notebook - glue (bottled or glue sticks) - printer - scissors - colors (markers, crayons, colored pencils... whatever you prefer them to use!) - copies of the interactive notebook pages
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
The use of scissors is needed for students to be able to cut out the interactive notebook pieces that will be used in each week's activity.
