In this class, students will learn to chain onto the hook and how to keep the chain size uniform. Students will learn how to do a single stitch and possibly a double stitch or how to work in a circle, depending on previous experience and ability level. We will talk about different types of yarn and thread for crocheting and what the different crochet hook sizes mean. Take the class one time or many times. Instruction is tailored to your level, and we will build on what you already know to learn new skills. Esta clase está disponible en español. Students will need yarn in two different colors and at least one crochet hook, costing between $3-8 USD

Hello! I am a middle school teacher teaching math, Spanish, and English as a second language (ESL). I also have a background in business, having helped get several businesses up and running and working in Human Resources for 4 years. I hold master's degrees in math, curriculum, and business administration. I believe learning should be fun, and so should teaching!
