1-2 hours per week. Students will have a weekly summary post due by Saturday night each week. It may be a one or two-paragraph summary of what they learned, or an upload of a google Slides presentation they created.Assessment

What will be taught? -Important computer skills that will help students in everyday life. Course Outline: Week 1: Netiquette: Staying safe online, and How to compose both a formal and casual email Week 2: All Things Google: DOCS, Slides, Sites, Calendar, managing Google Drive Week 3: Sources: Why do you need them and How can you do research for papers/ cite sources Week 4: The Web and Organization: Adding Bookmarks, Organizing folders, File Maintenance. Etc. How is your class structured? In this flexible course, classes will be broken down by week. Content for the upcoming week will be posted by 10 PM Saturday prior to the upcoming week. For example, if Week 2 Starts on Monday, the 12th, then content will be shared before 10 PM on Saturday, the 10th. The content you can expect will be videos, discussion questions, Q and A sessions, pictures, quizzes, real-life application questions, etc. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students through discussion posts and through recorded video discussions. We will also play some games too! What's your teaching style? -Interactive -Collaborative -Inquiry-based. Any required experience or knowledge learners need? Students should know how to log on to their personal computer account (school account works too). They will be making changes (organization) and creating projects on them.

-explain in one or two paragraphs how to stay safe online.
-create a project using Google Docs, Slides, and Sites. (Citing Sources accordingly)
-learn how to organize files on their computer and Google Drive
