Week 1- Read Aloud by Eric Carle The Hungry Catepillar. Paint paper to use for collage in style of Eric Carle. Demo how to use scissors and glue and demo how to make collage. Once painted paper dries make collage at home. Week 2- Read Aloud about Picasso- Make a collage in the style of Picasso. Week 3- Read Aloud The Block by Romare Bearden and make city collage. Week 4- How to make Cards using Collage. Week 5- How to make a pop up book Part 1 Week 6- Pop up books Continued Part 2

Hi! My name is Ann Denham and I teach Visual Arts classes including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, media, printmaking, and photography.
I have a bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University and a Master's Degree in Education from City College of New York. I taught visual arts in New York City Public Schools for 8 years. I have worked at newspapers in the U.S. and continue to work on documentary projects along with taking portraits and weddings.
I believe everyone can learn and believe in everyone receiving a well rounded education.
