This class is combining literature and math! We will be reading The Coin Counting book by Rozanne Lanczak Williams and learn how to combine coins in a variety of ways. The students will be able to make coin combinations of 5 cents, 10 cents, and 25 cents. We will discuss the variety of ways we can use the different coins to make these amounts. The student will need a background in the worth of a penny, nickel, dime and quarter. They will also need basic knowledge of skip counting by 5s and 10s.

Hi I'm Jenn! I am a Children's book author and Early Childhood Educator from Canada, and have been teaching 3-14 year old learners since 2013. I got halfway through a program to become an elementary school teacher before switching to a psychology based degree in Child Youth and Family studies.
