In this sixteen-week online course students will improve their Chinese acquisition from step four to step five. They will practice Chinese listening, speaking, writing and reading skills based on about 450-550 regular vocabulary words.

Description

Class Experience

The class will teach about 200 new characters, 60 sentences, 8 children's songs, and 5 ancient poems. The instruction will cover the entirety of the second textbook used by Beijing’s elementary schools, plus the famous "Basic Chinese 500" book. The lessons include passages on Chinese folklore, idioms, and science stories. The teaching contents will cover the following topics:
 Week 1. This is a Story about Sammy 
Week 2. My Siblings 
Week 3. A Rainbow
Week 4. Four Seasons 
Week 5. Hometown...

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
