Days and Months 10 Numbers This five-week basic Chinese class will teach a hundred sentences for daily communication, supported with lessons on vocabulary and pinyin. It covers greetings and introductions, people, objects, holidays, invitation and visits, asking questions, asking for help, weather, days and months, numbers, and more. In addition, I have identified core words and structures to teach to beginners. They are at the heart of most necessary communications. My teaching style is student-centered. That means I will create as many options as I can for you to listen, speak and express yourselves in Chinese. I will help you practice reading and reciting passages out loud. In my teaching plan I will put many first hand effective teaching Chinese material including flashcards, sentence-cards, word-order of sentences, audio and video of authentic dialogues and classic episodes. I will the key building blocks to broaden your understanding of Chinese language and Chinese culture. My pinyin study will help you type basic sentences to your friends in Chinese. Throughout this course I will also teach several Chinese songs and poems. I have more than 30 years of teaching experience and more than six months of online education practice. You will find a good start in my Chinese class.

My name is Yuping Zeng. I am Chinese teacher .I live in LA. I am a mother of two boys. I like watching movies, going to the beach, and hiking. In my spare time, I do craft and knitting and listen to music too.
My strengths are language teaching and short story writing. I taught Russian for 17 years. I taught Chinese to foreign students since 2003. I taught both English and Chinese in America. My students are a diverse group of people, with widely varying ages and skill levels. I have attention to detail. I am good at working along with others.
