Class Experience
Students will learn how to set up a basic budget in Excel or Google Sheets. They'll learn the difference between income and expenses (fixed and temporary), and they'll understand how to start managing their money responsibly. We will also learn... 1. How to navigate Excel/Google Sheets 2. Basic functions within Excel (SUM) 3. How to classify and organize income and expenses
There isn't specific assigned homework for this course, but students will want to put their newly acquired knowledge to use by setting up a budget of their own!
Students will leave class with an Excel budget that they can modify to fit their needs!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
