Homework Offered
Practice on songbook and technique handouts and charts are useful for continuing lessons. I like to hand out song lyrics with harp chords on them and charts that show the basics of music theory for learners to practice 15 minutes a day on songs, techniques and jams.Assessments Offered
The learner is assessed on how well they are able to play the assigned music pieces in the learning text. They are also assessed on their tone quality, breath support and overall dynamics and tempos. But please note, I am not a judge, except maybe in the way Howie Mandel is a judge on America’s Got Talent. What that means is: there will not be a test – but I will give you encouragement if you get it right and the class will do virtual high fives all around.Grades Offered
