* Each class will have different problems so students can take the class as many times as they would like. In this one time class, we will work on basic addition skills using pictures and manipulatives. We will practice using different strategies to help solve for the answer. Students will be given a lot of opportunities to talk and discuss how they solved a problem and which way they like best. Students will be able to ask for help at any time. Students will work together to solve problems and also get problems to solve on their own. In this class my goal is to get students to be confident, enjoy math, and find a strategy that works best for them.

Students will need paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker for each class. Students can also bring coins or cubes to use as counters.
