The class will begin with principles of fractions. Teacher and learners will use graphic baseball examples, diagrams, discussion, and practice problems centered around discussions of baseball to develop an in-depth understanding of fractions. The topics covered will include math vocabulary, fractions of shapes, fractions of groups, and fractions on a number line.
