Teacher and learners will use graphic baseball examples, diagrams, discussion, and practice problems centered around discussions of baseball to develop an in-depth understanding of fractions. I am an experienced public school teacher. I have taught reading, writing, and math at all levels from pre-kindergarten through college. I am a reading and math specialist, and I have extensive experience working with struggling learners. I am well trained in working with learners to identify and overcome their individual challenges in reading, writing, and math.

Learners will be provided with class documents to print before each week of classes. Please insure that your learner has their documents for each class meeting. Much of the class work will be based on these documents. Learners are welcome wear hats and/or shirts and bring props to class to represent baseball teams that they support.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
