Learners are tutored individually to master the seven essential Phonemic Awareness Skills in this one time session that can be purchased a la carte.
Class experience
I will assess the learners and then provide structured intensive Orton Gillingham reading tutoring to the struggling reader. Student will move at their own pace through lesson 1-5 of Barton Reading and Spelling Level 1 Program. It is recommended that students have a minimum of 2 hours of tutoring per week to progress through the program. It is helpful for the student to take the course on a laptop or computer so they can use the remote control to move the virtual tiles. If this is not possible, please purchase a set of colored tiles so they can move those on their table instead.
