Description
Class Experience
Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. (This is never required) It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. ____________________________________________ If your child loves painting, I offer a few fun painting classes EVERYDAY on Outschool. These are listed MONDAY- FRIDAY and I strive to upload a few NEW paintings each month! Watch as they improve with each painting they create! See you soon!
1 file available upon enrollment*Don't forget to protect your surfaces from paint and wear your designated painting clothes /smock. * 11x14 Canvas or Thick paper ( watercolor or mixed media so it does not tear. ) PAINTED BLACK. Please have this black painted and dried prior to class. *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14. or smaller. This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. ACRYLIC Paint Colors White Green yellow orange Blue Black WARM Red 3 different sized Brushes : 1 inch Flat brush Medium ROUND brush with a nice point ( size 8 or size 10 ) Small Detail ROUND brush with a nice point ( size 3 or 4) 2 Bowls of water ( one to be saved for final touch ups ) A few Paper towels Paint palette with wells to hold paints.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
