Class Experience

Whether your dog is cold at night or you want to avoid a snow covered pup - doggy overalls can help! Dog clothes can be expensive - lets get a little thrifty and make our own! I will show students how to adjust pajamas to fit their dog! They will need to use scissors to cut fabric, pins and measuring tape to help mark the fabric. They will sew two simple lines, if they are comfortable with using a sewing machine or can be hand sewn. Students will learn some simple seamstress techniques. We...

To successfully alter baby clothes to fit dog!

I like being cheap and thrifty especially when it comes to my sweet puppy! I don't have time to sew entire outfits, repurposing old baby and children's clothing is the perfect solution! I have altered clothes for my puppy, and a Yorkie. Maybe this winter I will try to make some things for the Golden Doodle too!

Baby or Children's Pajamas 
    *body length should be measured neck to tail = human neck to bottom. 
Measuring tape
Scissors (sharp enough to cut fabric)

Sewing machine or needle for hand sewing

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
