Class Experience
Welcome to the one to one Barbie class! This has been a requested class for quite a while and I'm so excited to finally open it up! Your child will get to bring their favorite barbies to class to play. We will have a lot of social time and ask a lot of questions. I will encourage the students to expand on thoughts and adding details about their barbies and play. I will encourage students to use their imagination and be creative. Your child can also show off their favorite barbie house, car, clothes, and etc. My daughter has lots of Barbies and a Barbie house that I will be using in class. They will get to see what all their teacher has too. I am a special education teacher and have worked with children of all ages. I have taught in a public school for about 8 1/2 years. Recently I started working from home online with children. I have absolutely loved it! I have experience with children who are shy or quiet and those with disabilities. I enjoy getting on their level to help them open up when playing or interacting. I love watching children grow while learning and having fun.

Hi, My name is Britany.
I just started my 8th year teaching. I love teaching students of all ages. I currently teach pre-k students with special needs who are ages 3-5. I have taught students special education Pre-k up to 12th grade in all areas. I enjoy teaching students low level math, letters, number, life skills, and more. I have also taught online ESL with three different companies for the past 4 years.
My personal philosophy for teaching is to assist each student in every aspect of his or her educational experience and in doing so targeting his or her specific area of need.
