Description
Class Experience
Students will learn skills and techniques to create digital music with Logic. They will learn how to use loops and play virtual instruments as well as sample parts of other songs so that they can layer their beats. Once they have the layers recorded they will learn how to finish off their beats so that they sound professionally mixed and edited.
I have been a music producer for 20 years and a school teacher for 12. I have combined my two passions to create digital music classes for children.
Practice the skills they learned in class to make beats.
Students will need to have the Logic Pro on a Mac computer
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Students will need to have Logic Pro on a Mac computer. You can download a free trial version of Logic Pro. We will be using Logic Pro to create digital Beats. https://www.apple.com/logic-pro/trial/
