Class Experience

Welcome to my 1:1 Balloon Twisting and Modeling Class. 

In this class you will learn to go from basic balloon animals to amazing balloon animals. 

This is the 101 class for students who are new to balloon twisting or are just getting started. Each week we will add more balloons to your list. You should take a picture so you can remember how to do it. We also recommend creating a board as you go along, add the balloons to your list as you learn them. 

The goal of this class is that students...

Be able to launch a twisting/decor business. 
Professionalism.
Dealing with difficult clients. 
Learn all the basic techniques and skills needed to advance within the field.

This is what I do, everyday, for a living. I have expanded my business by adding decor to my skillset. Twisting requires you to have parties constantly or restaurant work. Nicole was just part of a team who won 1st place in a balloon competition in DC.

Homework Offered
Practice, practice, practice. Students will be asked to practice between classes to improve their twisting speed and accuracy. 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Qualatex or Betalatex 260 mixed color balloons (bag of 100 to start) 

Qualatex hand pump (green, you can find it on Amazon) 

5 inch white balloons (Walmart/Amazon)

Paint markers or sharpies (amazon/walmart)

If you become a professional we recommend an electric pump rather than a hand pump. We use the small Lagenda for our business.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Balloons will be popping. Be ready. 
Balloons are made from latex. 
Balloons are dangerous if consumed. 
Balloons take more space than you realize they do. Make them, take a picture and pawn them off on neighbor children or pop them!
