Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the iconic Sugar Plum Fairy variation from The Nutcracker. Proper technique and terminology will be emphasized and encouraged so the student can carry their new learned skills on to their other dance classes.
Each student is given individual corrections to practice on their own at home.
Appropriate dance clothes are required! Please make sure your learner is wearing a leotard (any color), tights and ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Workout attire and non slip socks are also permitted. (Please no crop tops or sports bras). Hair also needs to be pulled out of the learners face preferably in a ballet bun. A water bottle is also suggested.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will also need at least a 4x4 open space free of any obstacles or furniture, etc. in order to safely move and dance and prevent any potential injuries. Appropriate dance clothes are required! Please make sure your learner is wearing a leotard (any color), tights and ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Workout attire and non slip socks are also permitted. (Please no crop tops or sports bras). Hair also needs to be pulled out of the learners face preferably in a ballet bun. A water bottle is also suggested. Adequate stretching should also be done before and after each class in order to help warm up and cool down the muscles to also alleviate a potential injury.
