The students will learn the basics of ballet and tap technique, while also fostering the children's imaginations through creative movement. We will review ballet and tap steps learned each week, while reviewing and adding new creative movement activities each week. Students will be able to interact with the instructor and other dancers through the "challenge of the week," which may be a choreographic assignment or YouTube scavenger hunt. Assignments will be posted in the classroom so other learners can view, comment, and get to know each other.
