In this ongoing course, little dancers will be introduced to the famous tales of ballet and the amazing people who created them, through an engaging and interactive story time. Each class will begin with a story of a ballet or dancer. Students are encouraged to bring along a snack and a drink, and a new themed activity page will be provided each week to keep little hands busy during the story. Students will get to know the famous stories of ballet and the people who helped create them.
I am Rachel and my two passions are dancing and teaching. For my dancing expertise have been dancing since I was three years old and have performed across the US and Canada in 5 national tours and at 2 theme parks. Most recently, I passed my Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Foundation exam in 2019. I have been teaching dance since 2012 and have taught students of all ages and abilities. Today I am an an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. I also hold an Associate's of Arts and Science in Education.
A themed print out activity sheet will be provided before each class.
20 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
