Class Experience

Intermediate Level
This class is designed for dancers who are preparing to transition to pointe work. Through a targeted blend of strength training, flexibility exercises, and ballet-specific conditioning, students will focus on building the foundational strength and alignment needed for safe and successful pointe work. Emphasis is placed on foot and ankle strength, core stability, and proper alignment of the legs and body. Students will also engage in exercises that enhance balance, turnout, and overall body awareness. This class is ideal for dancers aiming to build the physical strength and technique required for pointe work, or for those recently promoted to pointe who may need extra support in specific areas.

>>This class is best viewed on a large screen. It is recommended that dancers use a device that can be connected to a tv or large monitor.

Each Lesson Includes:
- Lesson videos thoroughly explaining how to complete exercises
- About 30-40 minutes worth of drills per lesson (students pause the video between drills)
- Teacher feedback through student video assignments
- Lessons can be repeated daily each week for more practice

>> Students have access to the videos for 1 year per Outschool policy. The class fee reflects 4 pre-recorded lessons with descriptions of exercises (which can be repeated as much as you wish throughout the year) and teacher support through recorded videos during the first 4 weeks of access.
