Description
Class Experience
This is a one time class all about ballet! Your student does not need to have prior dance knowledge, anyone is welcome. This class will be a combination of lecture, videos and pictures to illustrate the long and interesting history of ballet. We will explore what ballet looked like in the past and what events took place to create the modern ballet we know today. The class will also highlight some important dancers and choreographers. This class is taught in English.
Your student will gain an overarching view of the history to ballet and be able to articulate some of the important events in this history.
I have taught and danced professionally for over 6 years and taught at many studios in the Denver metro area and Eugene, OR.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
