She progressed to become an elite level gymnast competing at the National level in USA gymnastics. She later brought her skills to the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA Cheerleading) where she won National Championships in both Cheer and Dance. Following her 15-year competitive career, she went on to coach both gymnastics and cheerleading as a United States Gymnastic Association (USGA) certified instructor to children ages 2-13. She is also a National Physique Committee (NPC) Florida state bodybuilding champion (2019). Shannon has a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She is also an NCCA-accredited Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) licensed in youth exercise (YES certified), nutrition (FNS Certified), and group training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has over 10 years of experience teaching children. Once Shannon’s goals shifted to helping others, she opened her own studio (2018) and knew this was what she was made to do. "Supporting families by helping their children to achieve active and healthy lifestyles is the joy of my life!" Ms. Kara loves teaching stretching, strength, and dance classes.
