Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the Primary Grade Exercises from the NCDTA Ballet Syllabus as well as supplementary exercises where necessary. They will also learn a Primary Level Ballet Dance.
I have been teaching dance for over 25 years. I am a qualified professional dance teacher holding my Ballet Teaching certificate with the NCDTA (Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association in the UK). I have taught all ages of ballet from young to adult; also training other teachers. I am currently the Children's Program Director of a Dance Studio in the USA. Ballet is one of my favorite classes to teach!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please ensure children have enough space to move around and remove anything they may bump into or knock down (e.g. your expensive vase!) Class Attire:- Please wear appropriate free-moving clothes e.g. tee-shirt with leggings, leotard and wear either ballet shoes or bare-feet (not socks) so they do not slip during the class. Fitness:- Your child should be in a fit and healthy state. Please check with your doctor if you have any concerns. Technical Requirements:- Please check that your Zoom App is updated as this can cause issues with the sound quality in class.
