Ballet Dance Class: Unicorn and Pony - Beginner Ballet Dance
In this beginner Ballet Dance class we will dance with our favorite pony or unicorn toy! We will begin with a Ballet dance warm up, a Magical Garden movement dance game and a short Ballet dance routine to a song from My Little Pony.

Class Experience
Bring your pony or unicorn to Ballet Class! In the first few minutes of class, each child will be able to share one thing about themselves to build confidence. Class will begin with fun and engaging exercises without out pony or unicorn that will warm up and stretch our bodies. Basic Ballet Barre exercises, as well as some Ballet Technique will be taught. We will then work on basic motor skills through a very special Magic Garden dance game. We will move right along into a My Little Pony...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which teaches various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
There will be no homework assigned. However, students are encouraged to share their love of dance and perform their special unicorn dance to others.
If you are unfamiliar with zoom, there are two settings in which you can take class. Gallery view allows you to see all learners and the instructor the same size. Speaker view allows you to see the instructor on the main screen and the learners at the top. Please note: what you are able to view is a setting specifically on your zoom account. Please let me know if you have questions or need further assistance.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself. Please note: transfer requests need to be made at least 24 hours before the class start time.
