Description
Class Experience
During this class we will begin with fun and engaging dance exercises that will wake up and stretch our bodies. We will learn basic Ballet barre exercises as well as some Ballet Technique through basic Ballet Floor and Standing Stretches. We will then work our way through the ocean on movement through basic motor skills through various imaginative dance games. We will end with a fun game of freeze dance! No experience necessary for this class.
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative learning environment. Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
There will be no homework assigned.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
