Dance with Miss Lauren in this Princess Jasmine, Aladdin themed dance class, we will begin with a Ballet dance warm up, play a dance movement game and learn a short Ballet dance routine to "A Whole New World".
Class experience
Dance with Miss Lauren in a whole new world! In the first few minutes of class, each child will be able to share one thing about themselves to build confidence. Class will begin with fun and engaging exercises that will warm up and stretch our bodies. Basic Ballet Barre exercises, as well as some Ballet Technique will be taught. We will then work on basic motor skills through a fun dance game. Next, we will move right along into an Aladdin inspired dance with our magic carpets, perfect...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which teaches various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
Learners should bring a "Magic Carpet" with them for the choreography part of the class. This can be a blanket, towel or sheet. Something that is small that they can move easily without getting tripped up on.
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself. Please note: transfer requests need to be made at least 24 hours before the class start time.
