Description
Class Experience
I am a Royal Academy of Dance certified ballet instructor with twenty-five years of teaching experience with recreational, pre-professional and professional dancers. I get children dancing and enjoying ballet by using creative and imaginative elements. My students learn good dance technique and we have a lot of fun doing so!
Students can wear their Halloween costume to class, but please make sure that they are comfortable dancing and moving in their outfit. Dancers need to have a small open space where they can move around. Bare feet are best if your floor is slippery. If students own ballet, jazz or gym shoes they can wear those, but it is not required. Please try to aim your camera so that I can see the whole dancer. The better camera view I have, the more interaction I can have with my dancers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please have a parent or other responsible adult nearby while your child is participating. Parents will not participate in the class and should remain off camera as per Outschool policy. During class, dancers will practice their ballet steps like familiar Halloween characters such as ghosts, witches and skeletons. These characters are silly, spooky characters presented as part of an age-appropriate storyline.
