Class Experience
This ballet camp is a creative way to practice ballet steps and bring stories to life! In this class, Mrs. Watters will teach four of her popular one-time Ballet Adventure classes as a camp. Our ballet class exercises will not only improve balance, coordination and strength, but will also tell the story of the day as we move through class. The level of difficulty will be in line with the Royal Academy of Dance Pre-Primary and Primary levels, but no dance experience is necessary. These...
I am a Royal Academy of Dance certified ballet instructor with over two decades of teaching experience with recreational, pre-professional and professional dancers. I get children dancing and enjoying ballet by using creative and imaginative elements. My students learn good dance technique and we have a lot of fun doing so!
Students need to wear clothes that they can move in and have a clear space where they can move around. Bare feet are best if your floor is slippery. If students own ballet or jazz shoes they can wear those, but dance shoes are not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will not participate in class but please make sure a parent or other responsible adult is nearby supervising the student.
