Ballerina Tea Time

In this fun social class dressing up is a must. We will start with a cup of tea, or any appropriate drink, then we will color a page that represents the ballet concept of the week. We will work on ballet feet positions (first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth), basic ballet skills like walking on the toes (releve'), tendu', grand jete', passe', chasse', e'chape', and developpe'. We will also cover the translation of these French words to the English language. A doll or stuffed animal is welcome (please no more than one). No experience necessary. Students can join any time since we review positions and dance steps in every class.
