Are you ready to celebrate your birthday? Invite all your closest friends to dance and play with you! During the party, we'll have time to dance, craft, sing happy birthday, and maybe even eat some cake! During the ballet portion of our party, we'll have fun with a warm up, and some action songs to get our bodies ready to dance! We'll learn some basic ballet steps including positions of the feet and arms, plie, tendu, echappe, arabesque, and more! We'll even learn a special birthday dance to perform at the end of our party for all our friends and family!

Parental Guidance
Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore, please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes and/or socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and to warm up before class to avoid injury. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged to help your dancer maintain their safety and spacial awareness.
Supply List
Instructions and a supply list will be provided in the classroom based on the Birthday Kid's preferred craft!

Hi! My name is Miss Emily, and I teach dance to kids of all ages.
I began dancing at a young age, and my love of the art form carried through into a professional career. I danced with companies such as Six Flags, and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" - Disney World!
Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I opened a successful dance studio. There, I train dancers pre-professionally in ballet, tap, jazz, & lyrical. In addition to teaching children, I train other instructors in safe, age-appropriate dance curriculum. I believe every child should have access to quality dance instruction, and I love that Outschool expands that reach.
On Outschool, I love teaching dance in a fun and engaging way to children ages 3-7. I teach themed classes like my "Frozen Friends Ballet Dance Class", and an "Under the Sea Ballet Dance Party", as well as specific ballet classes! I offer one-time, multi-day, ongoing, and flex classes in multiple different themes to suit every young learner!
