In this class focused on 8-12 year old players we dive into all aspects of Ball Mastery and what it looks and feels like to control the ball while under pressure that will lead to crossing or finishing on GOAL!

Class Experience

In this program, we will focus on all aspects of ball control with the ultimate goal of becoming one with the ball.  Being a great dribbler/passer and understanding how your mind and feet work with the ball are essential skills to providing creative players and the ability to dictate their own decisions on the field.   

We will focus on dribbling moves, control, speed, ability to change direction quickly and gaining confidence with ball at your feet, all while seeing the field around you. This will be done through many repetitive touches on the ball: significant juggling/dribbling techniques, small confined technical moves and pattern recognition that will increase ball manipulations and win your 1v1 situation.

We will cover dribbling moves, control, speed, ability to change direction quickly and gaining confidence with ball at your feet, all while seeing the field around you.

Parental Guidance
Soccer training has potential risk of injury and it is the responsibility of each player to stretch and take care of themselves before, during and after each session. Players are responsible of their training area to be safe and free of obstacles in order to reduce the risk of injury from an outside source. If you feel that your child cannot training or look out for their own well being, it is recommend that a parent supervise from the side. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be totally eliminated. As the parent or guardian of child participating in training, I am a where that participation in a sport or physical exercise may result in accident or injury, and hereby assume the risk connected with any participation from myself or my child in any training session with Coach Kris Miller.
Supply List
Soccer ball, cones/pods(if these are not available to your player a similar sized object that can be dribbled around may be used), water bottle, and players ready to give a 100%!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
