Dip your own carmel covered pretzels in chocolate, like those seen in candy stores, and on Instagram all in the comfort of your home.
Your learner will learn via a live class. This is a one time class. We will be measuring out ingredients in class. They will be shaping caramel and dipping pretzel rods into melted chocolate. We will go over how to melt and get the perfect consistency for our chocolate. Once we have the perfect consistency the dipping will begin. After dipping come the designers creativity. 2 bags Chocolate candy melts or almond bark You could choose colored chocolate Chocolate Candy gel colors (optional) they need to be oil based Pretzel rods Caramel squares Sugar sprinkles Shortening, oil or coconut oil Wax paper or Parchment paper Cookie sheet 2-3 microwave safe bowls Tall cup or glass 2-3 spoons Scissors 3-4 Pastry piping bags or quart size freezer ziplock bags Toothpicks Mason jar or cup
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Younger learners may need help turning on microwave oven and removing hot bowl from their microwave oven. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact me and I’ll suggest something in place of it.
