**All ages welcome! Younger students are welcome to enroll with parental guidance. It's the most wonderful time of the year! Join us as we make some festive desserts in the kitchen! Grab your Mickey ears if you've got 'em! Over the course of three days, we will make the following treats: Moana's Hawaiian Holiday Cake Olaf's Hot Cocoa Fudge Mickey Shaped Gingerbread Cookies In this class, students will practice following directions as we combine ingredients and work step-by-step to produce one treat recipe per day. Students will learn baking skills such as measuring, ingredient combining sequence, and proper food handling. This will be a laid back and fun class, and I look forward to meeting your student! Disney discussion encouraged! Please have all ingredients out and ready at class start time. **Parent guidance/supervision is strongly encouraged for stove, oven, and mixer use. **Due to the nature of the class and varying recipes, it is not unusual for class to end either 15 minutes early OR late. Thanks!

Thank you for visiting my profile! I'm Teacher Hillary, and I live on a sheep farm in Indiana with my husband and our two sons. I love reading, traveling (Disney World!), watching funny movies, animals, and cooking! I specialize in language classes (ESL, reading, grammar, phonics, etc.), and I have several other ideas for fun classes that I am excited to explore! I love to include FUN and HUMOR in my classroom, while paying attention to each learner's individualized needs.
My qualifications are as follows:
-Active Indiana Teaching License (2008-present)
-BS in Elementary Education and a dual license in ESL (English as a Second Language) from Indiana University (2008)
-2 years of College-level Spanish instruction, in addition to 4 years of High School Spanish instruction
-Teaching ESL in a public school setting (2008-2014)
-Teaching ESL one-on-one online classes at VIPKID (2017-present)
