Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to bake confetti sprinkle sugar cookies. They will receive the recipe so they can make them again and again with adult supervision.
I've been baking since I was three years old and creating delicious food is a true passion of mine. I look forward to sharing the joy of baking with you!
Students may need to complete baking after class ends. In this case, the teacher will explain final steps in detail so students can successfully finish their cookies.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will receive the full recipe once enrolled in my class. They will need all the cookie ingredients for baking during class: flour, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, eggs, sprinkles (jimmies), salt, and baking soda. They will also need access to basic kitchen supplies such as an oven, oven mitt, baking sheet, parchment paper, stand mixer, large bowls, spatula, measuring cups, cooling rack, and measuring spoons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Adults should be supervising younger children as they bake (adults must be off-screen according to Outschool's policies). Students will prepare cookies on cookie sheets in class and their adults are expected to use the oven to bake them. The adults assume all liability related to preparing the dough and baking.
