SUPPLIES: #1 IMPORTANT REQUIRED ITEM: 6 cavity donut baking pan (can't substitute this if wanting to make donuts. I purchased mine at Michaels with a coupon, Amazon, Walmart etc. Just check your local stores. Mixer or large mixing bowl medium mixing bowl measuring spoons and cups small sauce pan spatula large ziplock bag scissors All ingredients in the recipe oven and stove top INGREDIENTS: 1 cup apple cider* 2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp cloves 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 egg 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup buttermilk** 1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp cloves 1/8 tsp nutmeg 6 Tbsp melted butter
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental supervision is encouraged if your learner is new to using the stove top and oven. You know your learner best and their capabilities.
