Class Experience
Crust: - graham crackers - sugar - butter Filling: - 1/2 cup key lime juice (fresh) - 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream - 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk - 2 teaspoons lime zest - 5 egg yolks Merengue Top: - 4 egg whites (take the ones from the eggs (yolks) we used for the filling) - sugar - cornstarch - salt Utensils: - grater/zester - lime squeezer/juicer - mixer - bowl - pie pan - oven
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since we will be using kitchen utensils and the hot oven, parental supervision is advised. Let me know if you have any food allergies and we'll figure it out.
