In this yummy course, students will bake an easy, delicious cookie recipe. These oatmeal, cranberry, and white chocolate chip cookies are always a crowd pleaser. This is a step up from the simple chocolate chip cookie recipe. Challenge yourself with a new recipe today! Students will learn not only learn how to bake a new recipe, they will also learn the importance of being safe and organized throughout the baking process. Students will learn organizational techniques to help manage their time, stress, and cleanliness when baking. People often get discouraged when cooking/baking because they get overwhelmed during the process. With my course, students will learn to manage their time, prep the ingredients, and really find a calm when baking.

Flour (all purpose) Baking soda Ground Cinnamon Ground Ginger Ground Nutmeg Salt Butter (salted, preferably) Sugar (white) Brown Sugar Vanilla Extract Eggs Old Fashioned Oats Dried Cranberries White Chocolate Chips
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will need parental guidance when placing the cookies in and taking them out of the oven. No knives or sharp objects will be used. The recipe baked during this course does not accommodate to any possible allergens such as nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy. If you are allergic to any of the previous ingredients, this class may not be for you.
