In this multi day class we will meet in a virtual live class. I will guide them and they could ask questions at any given time, all in the comfort of their own kitchen. In our first class we will tie dye and bake our cake. We will also make our buttercream icing needed to ice our cake. We will go over coloring our icing and the difference in using liquid food colors vs gel food colors, to get the perfect consistency to ice their tie dye cake. In our second class we will assemble it and color our icing for our tie dye cake. They will learn the fundamentals to assemble it, to set that perfect foundation. Parental Guidance
Younger learners may need help turning on oven and removing cake pans from their hot oven. They may need help with mixer. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact me and I’ll suggest something in place of it.

1 Box vanilla or yellow cake mix Ingredients listed on cake box 2 pounds powdered sugar (confectioner sugar) Shortening Vanilla extract or your favorite extract Spatula Hand mixer 2 Mixing bowls 5-6 small bowls food colors Toothpicks 5-6 small spoons Cake board or platter 2- 8” round cake pans or 9x13 sheet pan
