5 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this 5-week class we will read (outside of class) the first 5 books that appear in the Babysitters Club Graphic Novel Series, then we'll discuss what we read and prepare delicious bakes inspired by the books. Each week we will meet to: -discuss the assigned book we've read outside of class. -bake a treat inspired by the character featured in that book. -support each other through the process of successfully working through the recipe, while leaving room for some kitchen creativity. -read aloud favorite excerpts/quotes from the book. -share our thoughts on the characters and how they develop and change over the course of the series. Please read the assigned book each day before we meet for class. (NOTE: You are more than welcome to read the original print novels, but we will be working through the books in the order they appear in the Graphic Novel Series, as listed below.)
