This class is designed to make a simple fun treat for the whole family. In this one time class, you will learn the steps to make No-Bake Cookies. You will not need the oven but will need to use the stove. Parents may need to be near to provide assistance. We will talk about reading recipes, how to measure ingredients, and how we can substitute different ingredients or add things to make it taste different. Learners will learn how to make No-Bake Cookies that are delicious for the whole family. There are not many steps and it is a perfect introduction to baking/cooking.
1 file available upon enrollmentYour child will need: Ingredients: 2 cups white sugar 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa 1 stick or 1/2 cup butter/margarine 1/2 cup milk salt 3 cups quick oats 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy/crunchy 1 teaspoon vanilla medium saucepan parchment paper/cookie sheets whisk/rubber mixing spatula measuring cups(1 Cup, 1/2 Cup) measuring spoons (1 Tablespoon, 1 teaspoon) spoon small/big
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Because we will be using the stove, it is recommended that a parent be near to assist if needed. Please be aware that there is peanut butter involved, which may cause an allergic reaction in some.
