Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about measurements, mixing, timing, and baking temperatures as well as our Q&A time with all the students.
One large mixing bowl, 4 cup measuring cup, 1 teaspoon, 1 tablespoon, 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup coconut oil, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, 3 cups white flour, or almond flour for gluten free, 1 cup chocolate chips, and 2/3 cup walnuts.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents please have all the ingredients and baking tools for the recipe ready to go at the start of the class for your child. This will enable all in the class to enjoy the experience without waiting on other students to gather what they need. You can pre-measure the ingredients if you feel this will be best for your child. Or you can have the proper measuring cups and measuring spoons on hand. Students will also need an adult to help them with putting the cookies into the oven and pulling them out, and with the correct temperature setting and timer.
