Bakers will make yummy cupcakes by learning how to measure ingredients, check for doneness, store cupcakes, and clean up.
I'm a K-6 elementary teacher and started a baking business. I love baking cakes, cupcakes, cookies, fresh bread, brownies, and more! Decorating cupcakes is a fun creative outlet for me.
1 file available upon enrollmentFor ALL class sessions, the following materials are required: Cupcake pan, cupcake liners, rubber spatula scraper, large bowl, cups and teaspoon measurement tools, whisk, oven, toothpick, cooling rack, and oven mitts. Most recipes use the following ingredients: Flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, eggs, yogurt, milk, oil or butter July 23/24: SUPER STRAWBERRY CUPCAKES: (in addition to the above ingredients) 8oz package cream cheese, 1c mashed strawberries, strawberry extract, pink coloring gel July 30/31: VERY VANILLA CUPCAKES: Nothing extra August 6/7: DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP CUPCAKES: Unsweetened cocoa powder August 13/14: RAINBOW CONFETTI CUPCAKES: Rainbow jimmies sprinkles

Parental guidance is required when using the oven to bake the cupcakes. Recipes contain allergens such as wheat, dairy, and eggs.
