In this one time class students will be able to create a delicious dinner that's enough for a crowd! This recipe is fully customizable to your favorite pizza toppings! This class is taught by a professional chef, so lots of tips and tricks will be given during class! During class, I start with a short introduction of myself and learners. Then, I'll review required materials and ingredients, then we'll get started cooking! During class I fully expect questions and I encourage learners to ask them. During class I prefer that students be off mute to build rapport and have an engaging class! During class I'll be fully explaining and demonstrating whilst teaching the class. This class is geared for a beginner so no cooking experience is necessary, but a basic knowledge of kitchen ingredients, utensils, and how to use the stovetop and oven is helpful. I will post a copy of the recipe before class so that students may read through the recipe to familiarize themselves with the steps. If it's helpful to you to have a printout of the recipe you may do that, but it's not required as I'll be walking learners through the recipe. **Allergen warning** During class we may be using wheat, soy, dairy, nuts, eggs etc. Please contact chef Mary for any substitution questions. ***Parental Guidance*** During class students will be handling hot pots, working on the stovetop, and around hot or sharp materials, and be required to drain the water out for pasta. Parental guidance or more direct supervision may be required if your student does not have the necessary knowledge or experience for these tasks.

Ingredients: 1 lb spaghetti 1 jar favorite pasta sauce 1 big can crushed tomatoes Tomato Paste Garlic Powder Onion Powder Italian Herb Blend Seasoning Salt and Pepper Mozzarella Cheese Grated Parmesan Cheese Favorite Pizza Toppings such as: pepperoni, cooked sausage, other cooked meats, sliced vegetables such as mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, fresh basil etc Materials Needed: 1 large stock pot with matching lid 1 large sauce pan with lid 1 9x13 casserole pan 1 rimmed sheet pan parchment paper aluminum foil nonstick cooking spray colander 2 heat safe mixing spoons measuring spoons oven mitts Optional: apron, chef's hat, paper towels or hand towels for wiping hands or messes
