1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Learners will have contact with boiling water and a hot pot over medium high to high heat as they prepare macaroni noodles on a cooktop. For the sake of safety, parents are asked to drain the hot water from the macaroni noodles. Learners will later melt butter in a pot over low heat before pouring the butter over the cooked macaroni noodles.

The grater and butter knife used to cut the cheese and butter aren’t sharp, but with any cutting tools there is always a risk of accident and learners should exercise caution in the kitchen.

The following allergens are used in this course: wheat, dairy, eggs (soy w/ the Vegan option).
