In this one-time baking class, junior bakers will create colorful tie-dye cupcakes from scratch and decorate them with light, fluffy buttercream frosting. Each cupcake will have a unique rainbow surprise inside, making it as fun to eat as it is to bake! This class is designed to build baking skills, spark creativity, and introduce basic kitchen science concepts in a fun and supportive environment. I will guide learners step-by-step, demonstrating every part of the process live. We’ll discuss baking techniques, explore how ingredients work together, and share tips for kitchen success. Parents should remain nearby to assist with oven use for safety. This class is interactive and paced to accommodate all learners, so everyone gets the help they need to succeed. By the end of class, learners will have delicious tie-dye cupcakes to enjoy and newfound confidence in their baking skills!" -No matter the number of students in class, I teach each and every one. I DO NOT cancel because of low enrollment. -I demo every recipe. I DO NOT teach by talking over previously recorded videos. Pictured: my over the rainbow tie dye cupcakes

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance may be needed in assisting the learner in the kitchen as students will be using items such as ovens and other cooking equipment. Parents should be available in case of accidents or emergencies and ensure the learner knows how to properly operate the kitchen equipment. We will discuss safety in class. Outschool policy is that parents remain off-camera and only the enrolled learner may participate. Because of the nature of cooking and baking classes and safety, all cameras must remain on and learner and cooking area must be in focus. Families need to notify the instructor ASAP about any potential allergies. Most times, substitutions can be made for many via google. Each family is responsible for knowing what ingredients their family can have.
Learners will be instructed in food safety and kitchen safety during class.

I believe food brings people together, and my goal is to empower kids with kitchen confidence while teaching the science, culture, and joy of cooking. In this class, I’ll help your child create a delicious recipe and learn valuable life skills.
When I’m not teaching, I love traveling, hosting dinner parties, and sharing food experiences with my family. I’m so excited to welcome your child to my kitchen classroom—let’s bake something amazing together!
