I will start the class by all of us counting out loud from 1 to 10 with the math magician (the elephant puppet) I will ask them to divide those ten numbers in to two groups of black and red color. Then I will ask the learners to find the cards from 1 (=A) to 10 and make a train card putting the numbers in order. I start giving them simple additions: (e.g find number 3, and 2. Now add them and find the answer.) if they need help I will guide them by counting the shapes on the card and moving...
Learners will: *Count forwards from number 1 to 10 *Count objects on the card that matches the number (e.g 5 Hearts on the card with number 5 on it) *Solve additions between the numbers 1-10 *Sorting the cards in to two groups black and red *Count backwards from 10 to 1
Please make sure that my friends come to class with a deck of cards.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I appreciate adults’ supervision with my learners’ Mic., however to follow Outschool policy everyone should stay OFF camera except the learner/s who signed up for the class. Thank you.
