In this one time class, we will learn our basic ballet positions and have fun dancing to Encanto music!
Class experience
To begin, we will learn our basic arm and leg positions in ballet and some introductory steps that will help your baby ballerina feel like an accomplished dancer! Once we learn our basics, we will have a dance party to Encanto ballet music, allowing the students to use what they have learned and experience the joy of dance! This class is taught in English.
Students will learn our basic ballet positions: leg positions first through sixth and arm positions first, second and fifth (most commonly used). We will also learn some basic steps to guide their free dance: plie (to bend the knees), tendu (to stretch the leg and foot out) and skipping.
