Class Experience
This class will start with a review of the vowels "a, i, and o" and consonants. Students will have fun playing review games to practice these sounds; they will also receive instruction on sounds they may not know. We will then blend consonants and vowels; we will work together as a class to blend these sounds. Students will then be given opportunity to practice saying and writing the blends individually. Our goal in this class is for students to be able to blend a consonant and a vowel to prepare them for reading and writing CVC words.
Whiteboard/Paper Marker/Crayon that is easily read.
