The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the B-52 bomber, the engineering redesigns, science related material, and how the plane and crew accomplished the mission. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this amazing plane. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information about the course. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
Learning Goals
To introduce the student to the B-52 Stratofortress bomber and discuss the engineering, history, and science in how this amazing aircraft was used in the past and will be used in the future. Also, focuses on the historic Cold War nuclear implications and the United States strategic use of the bomber.
